Project Background
The purpose of the Burnt River South Receipt Meter Station (Project) is to provide metering facilities for the measurement of natural gas to meet receipt transportation service contract requirements. The Project will consist of the installation of a new 884U ultrasonic meter station, including an NPS 8 meter run (approximately 7 m), an NPS 4 return run (approximately 5 m), sour protection facilities, associated buildings and NPS 8 yard piping (approximately 140 m). The new meter station will tie into the existing NPS 36 Grande Prairie Mainline Lateral Loop No. 2 – Progress Section.
The Project will be located entirely on Crown land in NE 17-076-09 W6M, approximately 24 km northwest of La Glace, Alberta.
Project construction is planned from January to April 2027, with an expected project in-service date of May 1, 2027.
