Project Background

NGTL GP Ltd. (NGTL GP), as general partner on behalf of NGTL Limited Partnership, has filed an application for the Burnt River North No. 2 Receipt Meter Station. The proposed project involves installation of a new 662U ultrasonic meter station, including an NPS 6 meter run (approximately 5.5 m), an NPS 2 return run (approximately 2 m), sour protection facilities, associated buildings and NPS 6 yard piping (approximately 160 m). The Project will be located entirely on Crown land in SW 28-076-09 W6M and SE 29-076-09 W6M, approximately 26 km northwest of La Glace, Alberta. The Project will require the acquisition of approximately 0.53 ha of permanent new land. Temporary workspace will be required for construction on and off existing NGTL GP dispositions. The new meter station will tie into the existing NPS 36 Grande Prairie Mainline Lateral Loop No. 2 – Progress Section.

Project construction is planned to commence on 27 July 2027, with an expected project-in-service date in November 2027.
