REGDOCS Link
Project Background
The purpose of the Flat Lake Access Pipeline (Project) is to transport unprocessed sour natural gas from an existing compressor station located in North Dakota and tie into Steel Reef’s existing Flat Lake Gas Plant near Oungre, Saskatchewan for further processing. The Project is intended to support reliable access to natural gas supply to maintain continued operations of Steel Reef’s existing Flat Lake Gas Plant and to meet market demands.
The Project includes the construction and operation of two parallel pipelines, each approximately 5 km in length in southeastern Saskatchewan. The pipelines will be utilized to import natural gas and export fuel gas. The Project will require approximately 20 metres (m) of permanent right of way and an additional 5m of temporary workspace, collectively referred to as the construction right-of-way.
Project construction is planned from June to September 2027.
